new clothes, panda, and bob's

Last night after my dad came home from school, we headed to Idaho Falls to do a bit of school shopping for my dad. Hailey was on her way to a volleyball game so she obviously didn't come.  So it was just my mom and dad, and me.  Let me just say this......it can be pretty nice being the only child at home. :)

I ended up getting a few things for school too. :)  Scooorree!!  I actually tried on a ton of things, but basically everything was WAY too big in the shoulders.  It was quite annoying. Anyway I did end up getting me a pair of Bob's.  Those are the shoes I have been wanting to get for a long time, and I  finally got a pair.!!! I am pumped. I got a brown felt pair and we got Hailey the cord ones. I wanted to get the gold sparkly ones but we are getting into fall and I moved to Wyoming, where it snows way too much.  My mom said the felt ones and cord ones would be better for winter,  on account that there is 8 months of winter in Wyoming. So that's what I ended up getting.  I am super siked though. :) After shopping we went to Panda Express for dinner. One of my favorites. :)  Rice and orange chicken make me happy. :) We then headed home after a quick stop for groceries.

It was a great night with just the parents and me.

Life lessons:
New shoes can, and will, do anybody good.

Shopping makes me happy. (OK I can be happy without shopping but a few new outfits are great for the soul.)

Let your parents spoil you a bit.

Finally, and most importantly if you are the youngest child at home be excited for when you are the only one at home.  (I think it can be pretty great)
