Lake Tahoe

Okay I will just warn you this post is basically photos. But I feel pictures will be able to sum up my trip better than words.

While in Lake Tahoe we.......

watched Fourth of July fireworks.
They were amazing......at least compared to Malta fireworks.
They had all these different shapes( smiley faces, dice, hearts.) They were legit.
I could go on and on. Trust me.

went to Nevada beach ( part of the lake)

played Frisbee......

hung out in the motor-home

Hailey and Lauri

floated around in rafts and blow up bed thingies....
great fun.:)

went to San Harbor ( part of Lake Tahoe too)
a.k.a prettiest place ever!

we also hit tropical islands while we were there......ok. it just looks like it.

The worst sunburn of my life.....it took a whole week to heal. ouch. I can just say I learned my lesson. And in case you were dieing to know....yes it turned into a pretty good tan.....and yes it is all peeling off.:(

So right now I will just admit that Lake Tahoe was a lot funner than I was expecting.  It was really warm....trust me I would know since I got the worst sunburn ever. Anyway.....I am so glad I got to go to Tahoe and wish I could've stayed longer.  There were so many beaches and things that I left without seeing.  I hope we will make this a yearly tradition and go back again next summer...(but next time with the WHOLE family.)

I definitely under estimated the amount of fun I would have.  I guess as long as your with family and those you love it will always be great.:) 
As the Jones's would say "doesn't matter where we went, time we share is time well spent"......( staying close isn't my intent however;))
